展示会report【Beyond Inn Out】
2021年5月29日(土)と30日(日）の二日間に渡って行われた、建築写真家・大竹央祐による「まちなみ」をテーマにフィルムカメラで撮影した写真展【Beyond Inn Out】
The Blend Inn(現Blend Studio)館内に 地元此花区の ”まち”を構成するという、夜通しかけた設営作業に始まり、関係者一同が駆け抜けた2日間が終了しました。おかげさまで短い会期に関わらずとてもたくさんの方にお越しいただきました。
建築、空間、写真、会場構成、人
すべての要素が合わさり生み出す空気感がすばらしい瞬間となりました。

初日夕方は島田陽さんを迎えたトークイベント。此花との出会い、建築写真の可能性、大竹さんと島田さんの卒業制作話、スキルを磨く方法の話題など、あっという間の2時間でした。
会場構成したNo architects/ Neo projectsの西山さん、遠藤さんも途中参加。
会期中は様々な方のご来場がありましたが、今回の展示にも使われた小屋をセルフビルドしてくださったdot architectsのメンバーも来てくださったり、建築界隈の方々の横つながり・縦つながりの強さをあらためて感じました！
そしてなんと言っても今回は、このまちの住人でもあるNo ArchitectsとNeo projectsが会場構成・設営・什器制作に大きな力となってくれました。建物内外に大胆に単管を組み立て、設営した立体的な作品展示は私達にとっても斬新で、島田陽さんが作ったThe Blend Innの建築の中にあらたな建築の要素を入れたという意味で始めての試みでした。
今回にとどまらず、引き続き大竹さんとともに、The Blend Inn (現Blend Studio)において街との関わりを表現していけたらと考えていますので、ぜひ次回もご期待ください！

“Beyond Inn Out”, an exhibition of photographs taken with a film camera on the theme of “Street scene” by architectural photographer Yosuke Ohtake.
The exhibition started with a night-long set-up work to create a “town” of Konohana-ku inside The Blend Inn (now Blend Studio) , and ended with two days of hard work by all the members involved. We are very grateful to the many visitors who came to see the exhibition in spite of its short duration.
The architecture, the space, the photography, the venue, the people
It was a wonderful moment for us to see all the elements come together to create an atmosphere.
No Architects and Neo projects, who are also residents of this town, helped us a lot in organizing, setting up and creating the exhibition space. The exhibition was the first time for us to introduce a new element of architecture into the architecture of The Blend Inn, which was created by an architect Yo Shimada.
The book “Beyond Inn Out” is available on Mr.Ohtake’s online site and in many bookstores. It is a very comprehensive book that we hope you will take the time to read and enjoy. There is also an interview with Yo Shimada at the end of the book.
